Casino workers say no to union21 May 2010NIAGARA FALLS, Ontario -- Fallsview Casino employees have, again, voted against efforts to unionize, The Buffalo Business First reported. The Canadian Auto Workers union had attempted to unionize the 2,900 employees, the report said. The vote was conducted among 93 percent of the workforce with 63 percent against it, Buffalo Business Post report. There's something of a dispute going on between the casino and union over who would be covered by CAW's bargaining unit, the report made note. |
