Casino worker featured in salary report

12 April 2007

BAY ST. LOUIS, Mississippi – (PRESS RELEASE) – Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis table games employee Cindy Christopherson is featured in PARADE Magazine's 24th annual What People Earn, salary report, published in this Sunday's issue.

Christopherson, of Diamondhead, MS, returned to work at Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis, formerly Casino Magic, when the casino re-opened in late August, 2006. She has been with the casino for more than thirteen years and chose not to find another job after Hurricane Katrina because she wanted to wait for the casino to re-open. "The first question, PARADE asked is, "How does your 2006 salary compare with your 2005 salary? We were out of work for nearly a year so that affects the numbers," said Christopherson.

The Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis and Hollywood Hotel offers 291 guest rooms, 1,100 new slot machines, 20 unique table games, and a new 6-table poker room. There are four restaurants including Tuscany Steaks and Seafood, Jackpot Java, the Bridges Grill, and the all new Epic Buffet. Hollywood also features the state's only Arnold Palmer Golf Course ranked among the top ten courses in the state by Golf Digest magazine.

The fully renovated land-based casino has live weekend entertainment venues including Shaker's martini and piano bar, the new Club Royale music and dance club, and monthly concerts in the Cypress Ball Room. Legendary jazz musician Pete Fountain performs every Tuesday and Wednesday in the Oak Royale room. Hollywood is the only casino resort on the Coast with all amenities on site along with 17,000 square feet of function space and nine private meeting rooms.
