Casino Worker Faces Fraud Charges

CHATHAM, Ontario – As reported by Chatham Daily News: "After two months on the run, police have caught up with Lisa Fulkerson.

"The 32-year-old Chatham woman is behind bars in Las Vegas after authorities there arrested her at a casino Friday.

"The once prominent businesswoman is wanted by Chatham-Kent police after skipping out on a court date Nov. 12, 2003. She faces charges of fraud and theft over $5,000 from the Bank of Montreal. The money involved is reported to be in the range of $600,000 (US$471,698).

"…Authorities picked Fulkerson up while she was working at the Aladdin Hotel and Casino, Special Agent Todd Palmer told The Chatham Daily News…"
