Casino spurs talk for growth

FRENCH LICK, Indiana – As reported by the Bedford Times-Mail: "Meeting for the first time since the opening of the French Lick Casino, the Historic Hotels Preservation Commission Wednesday focused its discussion on the need for fostering continued growth in Orange County.

"…The HHPC, after lengthy debate earlier in the year, committed to taking a share of the casino revenues it will be responsible for distributing and awarding block grants to Paoli and Orleans municipalities…"
