Casino Resort Planned for Philippines

PHILIPPINES – As reported by the Manila Bulletin Online: "A Korean investor is building a R7-billion Twin Tower hotel, called Subic Paradise Condominium Hotel and Casino, together with a Retirees' Village inside the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA).

"This was learned from Antonio 'Tony Boy' Aquino, chief executive officer of the Technical Information Assistance of the Philippines, Inc. (TIAP), a non-government organization which helped facilitate the approval of the project that is expected to boost the tourism industry and real estate leisure in Subic.

"A former chairman of the Special Projects for economic affairs of the House of Representatives, Aquino will be the incoming chairman of the company that owns the project.

"He said that a team of professional managers to be led by Mr. Suk Jae (Steeve) Yoo who will be the president and chief executive officer, shall manage the proposed Subic Paradise Condominium Hotel and Retirees' Village, the first ever to be put up here…"
