Casino Proposed for Ho Chi Minh

VIETNAM – As reported by the Thanh Nien Daily: "A lawmaker in Vietnam's commercial hub Ho Chi Minh City has proposed that the city should build a casino dedicated to serving foreigners.

"The proposal was made by Nguyen An Binh, deputy of the HCMC People's Council, the city's legislative body at a seminar Oct. 11.

"So far, Cambodian casinos near the border with Vietnam have attracted a large number of foreign clients, with many of them coming from HCMC, Mr. Binh said…"
