Casino Owner Promises Not to Sell Out

UNITED KINGDOM – As reported by the Liverpool Echo: "The millionaire owner of Liverpool's Leo casino and Dolby and Campanile hotels today reassured staff by confirming they will not be sold off.

"Amaury Taittinger, part of the French champagne dynasty, is one of 38 family members considering offers for their extensive business empire, from champagne production to luxury hotels.

"But he moved to allay fears of more than 100 Liverpool workers at his three city-based sites today by saying: 'I should like to make clear that the Dolby and Campanile hotels and the Leo casino in Liverpool are not part of the Taittinger family group but are my personal operations.'…"
