Casino License Could Go to Bid24 March 2003ILLINOIS – As reported by the Chicago Sun-Times: ``Communities hoping to land the state's 10th casino may finally be able to bid on the lucrative project soon. ``The Illinois Gaming Board has called a special meeting for Wednesday to consider revisions to a legal agreement aimed at freeing up the state's last-available casino license. ``The long-awaited bidding for the license--being relinquished by Emerald Casino--could be announced then…" |
