Casino license could be back up for grabs2 April 2012PHILADELPHIA -- A state Supreme Court judgement has ruled that Foxwoods cannot hold onto its Philadelphia casino license, the Tribune-Deomcrat reported. The decision relates to a license Foxwoods were awarded to build a Philadelphia casino that they failed to raise sufficient capital to do so, the report said. The license could now be back out for tender, according to the Tribune-Democrat. Foxwoods had hoped to hold onto the license and build a casino further West, the Tribune-Democrat mentioned. |
