Casino Games Face Reclassification

AUSTRALIA – As reported by the Australia Broadcasting Corp. : "The South Australian Government is being asked to reclassify games with gambling themes as adult-only products.

"The proposal has been put forward by No Pokies MP Nick Xenophon, who is concerned the games are rated as suitable for children from the age of eight.

"…Mr Xenophon's plan is supported by Mark Henley, from the Inter-Church Gambling Task Force, who says gambling games are shown to increase the risks of problem gambling later in life…"
