Casino Fandango adds digital multiplex

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Galaxy Theatres, LLC is set to expand operations to Northern Nevada with its newest location at Casino Fandango in Carson City. The new multiplex, equipped with ten digital projector screens featuring REAL 3-D technology, will open its doors to the public on Friday, August 3.

The $15 million multiplex will have 10 auditoriums complete with stadium-style seating and high-back plush rocker seats, with capacities ranging from 150 to 400 patrons. Each high definition screen will offer high-end digital projection systems with DLP Cinema(R) technology ensuring the ultimate color, clarity and detail in every picture. Galaxy Theatres Carson City will be the only all-digital movie theatre in Northern Nevada and will become Galaxy Theatre's second all-digital theatre in Nevada.

Galaxy Theatres, LLC specializes in developing and operating multiplex theatres in the western United States in secondary markets and niche opportunities in larger markets. Locations include Texas, California, Washington and Nevada. The company's key management team has more than 70 years of combined experience in theatre operations and includes Frank J. Rimkus, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer; Rafe Cohen, Chief Operating Officer and President; Lee E. Josselyn, Vice President and Film Buyer; and Charles Goodman, Vice President of Operations.
