Casino Exec Leaves Fantasy Springs Team

INDIO, California – As reported by the - James H. McKennon, a veteran of Las Vegas who helped guide development and operations of the $200 million Fantasy Springs Resort Casino & Special Events Center, has joined the list of top-level executives asked to depart by the Cabazon Band of Mission Indians.

"…McKennon has held the reins as chief executive officer of East Valley Development Authority under a two-year contract worth nearly $500,000 a year, counting performance bonuses, said John James, chairman of the Cabazon band.

"'He ran out his contract, more or less,' James said, explaining that the tribe wanted to have a new management group in place in 2006.
