Casino Director Stabbed

ENGLAND – As reported by the Yorkshire Post: "A casino director was stabbed to death in a frenzied attack at his home by a gay man he had just met in a pub. Barry DeLacy bled to death from 28 knife wounds inflicted within minutes of taking Dean Wood to his flat in Leeds.

"Mr DeLacy, 62, who was the area director of A&S Leisure Group and had mingled with the stars during his years in the casino industry, was bisexual.

"That was a part of his life which the father of two 'generally kept private', Richard Mansell, prosecuting, told Leeds Crown Court yesterday after Wood admitted murdering Mr DeLacy on February 3 this year.

"Wood, 28, from Langley Moor, Durham, who has a history of alcohol dependency, faces a life sentence today. Judge James Stewart QC said that before imposing the mandatory penalty he wanted to consider psychiatric reports on the defendant to decide the minimum term he must serve…"
