Casino Case Goes to Human Rights Commission2 February 2006SASKATCHEWAN – As reported by the CBC News: "Four casino workers who say they lost their jobs because they're non-aboriginal have taken their case to the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission. "Until they were laid off in 2002, the four used to work at the Northern Lights Casino in Prince Albert, which operates under the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority. "Casino employee Diane Wallace, who testified at a human rights hearing Wednesday, said it's common knowledge that the employer is striving for a balance of 80 per cent aboriginal and 20 per cent non-aboriginal workers.
