Casino Camrose work proceeds10 October 2006CAMROSE, Alberta – As reported by the Camrose Canadian: "Work on Casino Camrose and the adjacent hotel and convention centre is progressing. "Wynn McLean, general manager of the CRE and David Pechet of Camrose Resort and Casino appeared before members of the Rotary Club of Camrose to provide an update on the multi-million dollar project, Oct. 2. "Mayfield Investments has a long history in the casino and convention centre business and initially expressed interested in locating in Camrose in February 2000. "…Between July 2000 and January 2002, Alberta Gaming established the eight step process it would use to select potential casino sites in the province…" |
