Casino Boss Killer Gets Life Term

UNITED KINGDOM – As reported by BBC News: "A 28-year-old man has been jailed for life for murdering a casino boss in a frenzied knife attack.

"Dean Wood, from Langley Moor, Durham, must serve at least 13 years before he is eligible for parole.

"Wood pleaded guilty on Monday to the murder of 62-year-old Barry DeLacy at the victim's Leeds flat on 3 February.

"…The judge said that he took into account that it was not a premeditated murder and that Wood suffered from a personality disorder and also had a history of alcohol abuse…"
