Casino Aztar general manager resigns3 June 2008INDIANA -- As reported by the Evansville Courier Press: "The manager of Casino Aztar has resigned after only about six months in Evansville. "Mike Jones took charge of the casino boat in late November. His decision to leave came about a month ago, and Aztar employees learned of it earlier this week, according to Robert 'Tom' Dingman, a trustee overseeing Aztar until it is sold. "Jones left Evansville on Saturday, flying to Lake Tahoe, Nev., where his family lives. "Dingman said he doubts the resignation will lead to any large changes at the boat. "...He was the third general manager to oversee Casino Aztar since the property was bought by Columbia Sussex in 2006. "Dingman likely will act as manager until the boat is sold. He first had planned to fulfill most of his responsibilities from his home in California but now will spend more time in Evansville..." |
