Casino Aztar for sale19 December 2007EVANSVILLE, Indiana -- As reported by 14 News: "Tropicana Entertainment plans to sell Casino Aztar in Evansville. This after the company was denied its Atlantic City license last week. That meant by law, an automatic removal of Casino Aztar's license as well, unless the company agreed to sell. "Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel says this latest news is, "Great news for Evansville." "Late Monday came word from Tropicana Entertainment that it has reached an agreement with its lenders to allow for a sale of Casino Aztar and the Tropicana Resort and Casino it owns in Atlantic City..." |
