Casino aids Churchill Downs25 April 2014LOUISVILLE, Kentucky -- Casino revenue was a boon in the first quarter to Churchill Downs, even though the company reported a net loss of $700,000, Louisville Business First reported. Net income came in at $1.1 million which represented a 20 percent increase in gaming revenue for Q1, according to the report. Both racing revenue and online revenue saw increase of 7 percent and 10 percent respectively, the Louisville Business First report stated.
