Card sharps jailed for casinos scam

LONDON, England -- As reported by the Press Association: "A gang of card sharps, including a Manchester man, who targeted casinos across the country have been sentenced.

"Robert Evans, 36, of Broadlea Road, Burnage, Anthony Lopez, 42, and Danny Ngo, 33, used false identities to trick their way into casinos and cheat at roulette.

"The trio were sentenced at a hearing at London's Southwark Crown Court.

"Police said thousands of pounds had been made through the trio's scam known as 'top hatting'.

"This involves secretly placing a chip on to the winning number while distracting staff monitoring the game..."
