Card Player Poker Tour launched

7 May 2012

LAS VEGAS -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Card Player Media has announced its new live poker tournament series, the Card Player Poker Tour (CPPT).

The poker series is designed to be tailor-made according to each property’s needs. The CPPT will work with each host casino to fully customize a tournament series, and, if needed, supply all the necessary floor staffing and dealers to make the event a success.

The CPPT will also work closely with the host property and media to promote their event, with each series receiving extensive media coverage. Each main event final table will be filmed and broadcast live on CardPlayer.com.

Executive Tournament Consultant Ken Lambert Jr. said of the CPPT: “All of our casino partners will benefit from us sharing our success and experience, by generating higher revenues and increased awareness of their properties.”

The first confirmed stop on the CPPT is at Choctaw Casino Resort, Durant, Oklahoma, from July 26 to August 05, 2012. The 22-event series features no-limit hold’em, limit Omaha eight-or-better and pot-limit Omaha. The guaranteed prize pools range from $15,000 to $500,000, with buy-ins from $170 + $30, to two $1,000 + 80 championships events.

More details of the Card Player Poker Tour will be announced in the near future.
