Card Player Poker Tour Choctaw to offer $1 million guaranteed22 May 2014(PRESS RELEASE) -- The next exciting stop on the Card Player Poker Tour will take place at Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Oklahoma July 17-Aug. 3 with an 81-tournament series offering $1,000,000 in guaranteed prize money. The highlight of the series will be the $1,500 no-limit hold’em $500,000 guarantee main event set to being August 1. Last season Mohammad Arani walked away with upwards of $220,600 dollars for besting the main event field, making him one the top all-time earners on the CPPT. Other tournaments throughout the series include a $200,000 guarantee no-limit hold’em, a $150,000 guarantee no-limit hold’em and a $100,000 guarantee no-limit hold’em re-entry. The winner of the main event will become the seventh CPPT champion of Season II and will likely take home one of the largest paydays of the season thus far. |
