Card dealer saves heart attack patron

RAYNHAM, Mass. -- A card dealer's first day on the job was a dramatic one.


Steve Parigian jumped in and performed CPR when he saw a patron collapse at the Raynham Park poker room, according WHDH TV.

His actions, along with two other patrons who assisted, saved the man's life, as he was clinically dead but survived because of this early CPR intervention, the report said.

Mr Parigian happens to in training to be an EMT, in addition to his card dealing job at the poker room, the report noted.
