Car shopper wins convertible at Hollywood Casino8 May 2008AY ST. LOUIS, Mississippi -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Aubrey Williams of Pearl River, LA, was on his way home from car shopping on the Mississippi Gulf Coast when he won a flashy new red convertible Ford Mustang at Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis Saturday. Williams and his girlfriend decided to stop in for a bite to eat at the Epic Buffet when they sat down to play the 'Ticket to Drive' nickel machines. "Williams hit the jackpot after playing $3.50. "I put a $20 in the machine and decided to max bet with $16.50 left on the machine,' said a cool and calm Williams. The cash value of the fully loaded convertible sports car exceeds $30,000. Hollywood has already re-ordered a replacement vehicle to be given away to the next lucky player. Earlier in the month Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis gave away four 2008 Mercedes-Benz sedans. "We haven't finished giving away lots of cash and cars here at Hollywood," said Senior Director of Marketing Jeffrey Sabree. "Let's just say we've got some real surprises coming down the road," said Sabree. Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis and Hollywood Hotel offers 291 guest rooms, 1,160 new slot machines, 21 unique table games, a 6-table poker room, and a 14-station video poker bar. There are four restaurants including Tuscany Steaks and Seafood, Jackpot Java, the Bridges Grill, and the all new Epic Buffet. Hollywood also features the state's only Arnold Palmer Golf Course ranked among the top ten courses in the state and Top 40 casino courses in the country by Golf Digest magazine. The fully renovated land-based casino has live weekend entertainment venues including Shaker's martini and piano bar and monthly concerts in the Cypress Ball Room. Legendary jazz musician Pete Fountain performs every Tuesday and Wednesday in the Oak Royale room.
