Capital Cities to perform during Downtown Grand's Life is Beautiful Festival

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Life is Beautiful Music & Art Festival headliners and multi-platinum, indie electric duo Capital Cities will perform an exclusive concert during the festival's official daytime pool party taking place at Citrus Grand Pool Deck located atop Downtown Grand Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, Saturday, 23 September.

Capital Cities will give fans a preview of their Life is Beautiful performance during the exclusive rooftop concert with hits like "Safe and Sound" and "Swimming Pool Summer." With doors opening at 10 a.m., Citrus will offer poolside partygoers food and drink specials, as well as access to cabana packages. Festivalgoers interested in attending the daytime celebration, available by invitation only through Life is Beautiful, can learn how to win exclusive tickets through the Downtown Grand Hotel on the website or purchase a room package from the Downtown Grand for guaranteed access.

Minutes from the Life is Beautiful entrance, the Downtown Grand Hotel will offer special room packages for guests seeking the full festival experience. The four-night package features two three-day general admission festival passes, $25 daily dining credit to the property’s 24-hour American eatery, Freedom Beat, and two complimentary tickets to the Capital Cities performance, 23 September. Additionally, the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino will offer other Beautiful, property-wide promotions and activations throughout LIB weekend:
  • Beautiful Third Thursday on 3rd: The 3rd street corridor between Ogden and Stewart will once again be filled with food trucks, art, culture, street games and giveaways, plus a final chance for fans to win passes to Life is Beautiful, as well as the official daytime pool party featuring Capital Cities during this monthly, night time food truck and Life is Beautiful kick-off event on Thursday, 21 September from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Beautiful Drink Specials: $1 draft PBR will be available at the Furnace Bar and Freedom Beat beginning Thursday, 21 September at 9 a.m. and will last through festival weekend on Monday, 25 September at 9 a.m.
  • Beautiful Brunch: Considered the most important meal of any festival weekend, Freedom Beat will continue its "Freedom 2 Brunch" experience from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on 22 and 23 September, with live entertainment, an all-you-can-eat menu for $20 and a bottomless "build your own" bloody mary bar for just $10 more.
  • Beautiful Late Night Entertainment: Some of the best musicians in the valley will come together for a post-festival, encore performance at Freedom Beat on Friday, 22 September and Saturday, 23 September from midnight – 3 a.m.
