Cantor Gaming appoints manager of its new poker room at Palms Casino Resort

LAS VEGAS -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Cantor Gaming today announced that Brad Thomte has joined Cantor Gaming as manager of its new poker room, which opened on May 4 within the newly refurbished Cantor Race & Sports Book at The Palms Casino Resort.

Mr. Thomte has joined Cantor Gaming with more than nine years of poker experience, extensive guest service expertise and a passion for poker. Prior to joining Cantor Gaming, he worked in the world-famous poker room at Binion's Gambling Hall & Hotel as shift supervisor and poker room manager. He was involved with numerous high-profile poker tournaments including: Binion's Poker Classic, the World Series of Poker and the nationally syndicated and weekly televised Ultimate Poker Challenge.

Lee M. Amaitis, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cantor Gaming, said: "We are excited that Brad has joined the team. His extensive experience makes him a perfect fit. He has arrived at an exciting time as we explore the natural overlap between sports bettors and poker players and we seek to offer customers at Palms maximum entertainment and convenience."

The poker area at Palms is located within the newly refurbished Cantor Race & Sports Book. There are eight poker tables in total, offering live poker and live dealers.
