Canadian lotto numbers mistakenly posted

CANADA – As reported by the CBC News: "The Western Canada Lottery Corporation says it made a mistake when it posted online what appeared to be winning numbers for its Millionaire for Life draw — which doesn't take place until the end of February.

"Tickets for the new national lottery are being sold all this month for a draw set for Feb. 28 in Montreal.

"On Saturday, a web page with what seemed to be all the winning results appeared for nine hours before it was taken down.

"John Matheson, a senior manager for corporate affairs at the company, says it was a test page that should never have been on the web in the first place.

"…Matheson says the website did indicate it was a Feb. 28 draw, even though the numbers appeared on Feb. 17.

"Millionaire for Life's grand prize is $1 million a year for each of the next 25 years…"
