Canada: No clampdown on online gambling

CANADA -- Washington may be clamping down on offshore online gambling sites, but Canada is not taking a similiar hardline approach, the Ottawa Citizen reported.

Several provincial governments operate their own online gambling sites, the report explained.

Cracking down on offshore gambling sites is described as "not the top priority" for police by a university law professor, in the Ottawa Citizen report.
