Camptown construction still stalled14 January 2008GIRARD, Kansas -- As reported by the Morning Sun: "Things are still at a stand still between the Kansas Lottery and Camptown Greyhound Park north of Frontenac. "Now, Crawford County Commissioners want to get involved. "...The owner of the facility, Phil Ruffin Sr., halted construction earlier this month because of a contract dispute between Camptown and the Kansas Lottery. "...Commissioners were concerned that the track's progress will be halted and thus halting any economic revenue that could come to the county as well as to the city of Frontenac.
