California: Senate approves casino deal for North Fork tribe28 June 2013SACRAMENTO, California -- The California Senate has approved a new tribal casino to be built by the North Fork Rancheria of Mono Indians, according to an LA Times report. The casino, which was the subject of some controversy, will contain 2,000 slots, the report said. The casino will be located on 300 acres of land near a highway in the Central Valley, the LA Times reported. |
