California may consider online lottery sales28 December 2011CALIFORNIA -- Online lottery tickets sales may be a possibility in California following the Department of Justice's legal opinion on intra-state gambling, the Los Angeles Times reported. Currently the plan is to "explore" the possibility of online ticket sales, as concerns are high about security, the report said. There are no plans to consider online poker, which was described by a lottery spokesperson as "a whole other discussion", according to the Los Angeles Times report.
