California County Supports Casino Coalition

CALIFORNIA – As reported by the Vallejo Times-Herald: "Solano County supervisors on Tuesday agreed to support the creation of a multicounty coalition regarding Indian casinos.

"Solano, Sonoma, Napa and Yolo counties are the proposed members of the coalition, which could soon be formalized through an official agreement, according to county officials.

"The multicounty consortium plans to hire a federal lobbyist that could help local governments have more say in the largely federal process that permits land for Indian casinos…"
