11 February 2011

COACHELLA, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- March 11th-13th, Spotlight 29 Casino is hosting the Fifth Annual Coachella Valley Poker Championship (CVPC). Buy-in is $560 ($500 + $50 + $10) with the largest guaranteed prize pool of $100,000 in the Palm Springs, CA area! The top 20 finishers in the Texas Hold'em Deepstack Tournament win cash.

The tournament will be played in the casino's new poker room which features a smoke-free environment for players as well as an in-room lounge with drinks, snacks and additional seating.

The CVPC starts on Friday, March 11th at 6pm and will continue on Saturday, March 12th at noon. Winners from the first two days will earn a seat on Sunday, March 13th at noon, for the finals.

"Players stand to win large sums of money, so the buzz for this tournament is tremendous," said Tom Sedlock, General Manager. "Each year the tournament grows in popularity and seating is limited so people are encouraged to register early."

Players of all levels are encouraged to register and space is limited. To register call: 760-775-3355.
