California casino pays out over $10 million in October11 November 2011LINCOLN, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Thunder Valley Casino Resort gave away $10,704,662 in jackpots over $1,200 during the month of October. November looks to be just as promising as Thunder Valley launches several holiday promotions, including the $1,250,000 Winter Thunderland Land Rover Giveaway, "Home for the Holidays" Pie Giveaways and Poker's $94,000 Big Game Getaway. "Thunder Valley Casino is thrilled to offer our guests the chance to win some phenomenal prizes during this holiday season," said C.J. Every Friday and Saturday night at 8 p.m. guests will have the chance to drive away in the ultimate winter sleigh, a 2012 Land Rover LR4 valued at $65,000, or take home up to $15,000 in cash. To enter, swipe your Thunder Club Card for free daily entry into the weekly drawings. Slot players earn an additional entry for every 250 points on their Thunder Club Card and table game players receive an additional entry for every 100 points earned. All entries earned throughout the promotion will be eligible for the Grand Finale. The Winter Thunderland Land Rover Giveaway runs now through Dec. 23., where during our Grand Finale drawing, five lucky guests are guaranteed to drive away in a new 2012 Land Rover LR4. Now through December, Thunder Club Card guests dining at the "Home for the Holidays" dinner buffet on Mondays from 4 to 9 p.m. will have their choice of one free eight inch apple or pumpkin pie. Additionally, guests who earn 100 points on their Thunder Club Card on Nov. 22 and Nov. 23 between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. will also receive a free pumpkin pie. Thunder Valley is expected to bake and serve more than 10,000 pies during the holiday season. Deep dish pies are also available for purchase at the Thunder Cafe and offer a variety of holiday flavors like pumpkin, apple, Dutch apple and pecan. Monday nights through December 26, guests can play Poker's $94,500 Big Game Getaway for entries to be one of 10 lucky weekly cash winners and a chance to win an all-inclusive trip for two to this year's big game. Thunder Club members may earn drawing tickets throughout the week by making a qualifying hand. On Dec. 26, the grand prize winner of the Big Game Getaway will be selected. Valued at $12,000, the all-inclusive Big Game Getaway grand prize for two includes tickets to the 2012 NFL championship game in Indianapolis, airfare, hotel stay and $2,000 in spending cash. In addition to the selection of the grand prize winner, 14 players will receive cash prizes from $200 to $500. |
