California casino adds new slots

1 June 2010

NDIO, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Comedian Jeff Foxworthy, Michelangelo, a LiL' Lady, a large cash wheel and other characters have landed on the casino floor at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino. This week, the resort/casino in the Palm Springs, CA area installed 20 brand new slot machines to replace others. One of the slots includes the likeness of Jeff Foxworthy, one of the most recognizable comedians in the country.

Six Aristocrat "Jeff Foxworthy's Redneck Rumble" penny slot machines can now be found on the casino floor near Lique. The progressive jackpot game features four bonus rounds where TV, Trucks, Fishing and Trophies are the redneck paradise. The main bonus round, the Foxworthy Bonus, is triggered when three or more TVs appear on the screen. Players will engage in the Truck-O-War, the Stink Bait Bonus or the Foxworthy Free for All at random. Fantasy Springs also just installed two new Bally Gaming "Cash Spin" penny slot machines and 12 new multi-game IGT penny slots. These multi-game slots allow patrons to play many of their favorite slots including "Fire House," "Cats," "Kitty Glitter," "LiL' Lady" and more on one machine.

Vice President of Casino Operations, Lou Crescenzo, says it is his goal to always give Fantasy Springs players the hottest slot machines by bringing in those that utilize the latest technology. "They have to be fun and user friendly," says Crescenzo. Many of the new slots on the casino floor are completely interactive, drawing the player in with memorable sounds and characters. "We also make sure we keep machines on the floor that are dear to people's hearts. Wheel of Fortune, I Dream of Jeannie and others have been casino favorites for years, and likely will continue to be." Crescenzo says it is his job to make sure Fantasy Springs Resort Casino stays on the cutting edge of slot machine and gaming technology, while finding the right balance of what very loyal customers like to play.
