California card room gets more tables

MANTECA, California – As reported by the Tri-Valley Herald: "The City Council went "all in" in support of the city's lone card room, granting a request to increase the number of tables at Casino Real on Tuesday.

"The panel also amended the city's gaming ordinance to allow no-limit wagering in the city.

"The city was notified by the California Department of Justice's Division of Gambling Control that the current ordinance governing card rooms had to address wagering limits — meaning the city either had to set a maximum wagering limit or specify there is no wagering limit.

"Manteca officials chose the latter…"
