Cake Poker extending popular promotions28 April 2011CURACAO, Netherlands Antilles -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Popular online poker site Cake Poker extends its popular Match & Win and Turbo Gold Card promotions through the month of May, plus qualifiers for this year’s World Series of Poker continue. Due to the strong reception it received from its players, Cake Poker is extending its popular Turbo Gold Cards promotion through May. Every day of the week Gold Cards will be rushing to the tables twice as often between 6-8am, 2-4pm and 8-10pm GMT. To compliment Turbo Gold Cards, Cake is also extending Match & Win for the entire month of May with a brand new game board. Match & Win is a fun and easy promotion where players can earn cash and prizes for their Gold Cards. Gold Cards earned in May can be redeemed for prizes by matching them to the Match & Win game board located in the Rewards section of the Cake Poker software. During the month of May players can trade their Gold Cards in for seats in over $10,000 in freeroll tournaments. Both of these promotions are built around Cake Poker’s Gold Card Rewards Program where ring game players earn randomly released Gold Cards as they play. Players can collect these cards until they choose to redeem them in one of Cake Poker’s daily Gold Card tournaments or sell them for cash at The Exchange, a player-to-player marketplace in which players can buy and sell Gold Cards. Also in May, Cake Poker continues its qualifiers for this year’s WSOP in Las Vegas, Nevada. This year’s event will host entrants from around the world all vying the crowning glory every poker player dreams of - a WSOP bracelet. At Cake, players can build their very own ultimate Las Vegas experience with two ways to win. The first is a series of multi-table tournaments with a final that awards the winner a $13,000 prize package. The second way is through daily Sit-n-Go step tournaments. These step tournaments let players advance to a final that awards the winning player a $2,500 prize package and helps them build up their “WSOP fund” for top of the line accommodations, 4 star restaurants and whatever else their hearts desire while in Sin City. Players can win as many of each of these packages as they want and then use the cash however they wish. Satellites for both formats are running daily with buy-ins for as little as $1.10.
