Caesars sued by fired worker27 July 2007ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- As reported by the Press of Atlantic City: "A food and beverage manager with 17 years at Caesars has sued the casino hotel, alleging he was fired as a result of racial and gender bias. "Lindsay A. White Jr. was fired Nov. 10 from his job as food and beverage support services manager by Caesars Atlantic City. The casino hotel told the state Department of Labor & Workforce Development that White was fired for misconduct. According to the lawsuit, the incident involved a pre-inventory count of supplies. "White, who is black, already has won one victory against the casino hotel: A deputy with the state Division on Unemployment Insurance determined that there was no misconduct that would disqualify White from collecting unemployment.
