Caesars Palace Sues Las Vegas Nude Dancing Club9 April 2001LAS VEGAS, Nevada –- Caesars Palace hotel-casino sued to stop a Las Vegas club and its owner from allegedly infringing on its trademark when they used the name "Teasers Palace" to advertise a "totally nude erotic dance establishment." In a U.S. District Court lawsuit, Park Place Entertainment Corp.'s Caesars sued Worldnet Investment Corp. doing business as Teasers Palace, 3100 Sirius Ave., Suite D8. The suit against Teasers Palace and Worldnet's alleged owner, Steven Musket, is aimed at stopping them from using the name to operate their strip club, which is about 2 miles from Caesars Palace. Musket could not be reached for comment on the allegations. Caesars last week won a ruling in a similar case against a Las Vegas hair salon, Scissors Palace. |
