Caesars Offers Shopping Promo

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey – As reported by the Press of Atlantic City: "The three Caesars Entertainment casinos are offering gamblers a new proposition: Shop till you drop after you gamble till you drop.

"Beginning Monday, players at Bally's, Caesars and Hilton can redeem their frequent-gambler points for gift cards that can be used at any Macy's department store.

"'We turned to Macy's primarily because we already have a well-established relationship with them. We do a considerable number of gift-card events with our customers and have done some employee things with them,' said Gary Luderitz, executive vice president of marketing for the local Hilton.

"'…Gamblers at every casino accumulate points based on the amount of their play. The Caesars Entertainment program, called the Connection Card, allows gamblers to also redeem their points for rooms, meals, show tickets and merchandise at any of the company's 18 domestic casinos.

"'The Macy's gift cards, however, can be bought only on a 2-for-1 basis; that is, a $50 gift card will cost Caesars Entertainment gamblers $100 of their 'Comp Dollars.'…"
