Cabo Wabo Cantina to host football fiestas31 July 2018(PRESS RELEASE) -- Cabo Wabo Cantina located inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, will host game day parties during regular season professional football games and select college football games beginning Thursday, 6 September; and the big game on Sunday, 3 February 2019. Fans can cheer on their favorite teams shown on flat-panel big-screen TVs, including a 200-inch video grid, a 200-inch projection screen, a 110-inch high-definition TV, two 80-inch high-definition TVs and 25 high-definition TVs throughout the cantina. Drink specials will include beer buckets of Dos Equis, priced at $23. For Sunday night games, Cabo Wabo will become football central, featuring a Football Fiesta from 5 to 9 p.m. during regular season games. The football-fueled parties will feature five beers, with choice of Heinekin, Dos Equis or Dos Equis Amber; and five shots of Espolòn Blanco tequila for $55. Guests can also enjoy half-off appetizers, including: taquitos, made with shredded chicken, a house cheese blend, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole, priced at $5.48 during happy hour; the nacho platter, available in a choice of traditional, chicken, beef or shrimp with a house cheese blend, beans, jalapenos, cotija cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole, priced starting at $7.48 during happy hour; queso fundido con chorizo, made up of a trio of Mexican cheeses and house chorizo melted on a skillet, served with warm tortillas and pico de gallo, priced at $5.98 during happy hour; or the cotija-crusted cheese quesadilla crafted with cojita cheese and a choice of traditional, chicken, beef or shrimp, priced at $8.48 during happy hour. Groups of up to eight people may book private football parties in Cabo Wabo’s exclusive VIP lounge, which includes exclusive access to two big-screen TVs and a private skybox overlooking the main dining room.
