C4- Sports, Ultimate Sports Entertainment Team Up

24 April 2006

LAS VEGAS – (PRESS RELEASE) -- C4-Sports General Manager Gene Sanders have been appointed to the advisory board of Ultimate Sports Entertainment, Inc. and will assist resort management with its technology initiatives for the $4 billion sports mega-complex to be built on 116 acres in Las Vegas. Matt A. Rose, president and CEO of Ultimate Sports Entertainment, Inc., will address attendees at the C4-Sports Media Technology Conference and Exhibition in Las Vegas on July 17, the opening day of the exhibition.

"The Ultimate Sports Resort will deliver an extraordinary experience to sports fans, teams, and enthusiasts, and we are looking forward to being part of a project that has the potential to be the greatest sports and entertainment destination in the world," said Sanders. "The goal of C4-Sports is to bring together technology and solutions for sports, and the Ultimate Sports Resort truly is a microcosm of this industry."

Rose's address at the C4-Sports Media Technology Conference and Exhibition will outline the mission and objectives of the resort and discuss details that surround building such a facility, one that will provide sports-minded consumers with unparalleled access to watch sports, play sports, test state- of-the-art sports equipment, and purchase the widest range of sports-related products in the world.

"We chose to work with Gene and C4-Sports because they represent an event version of what the Ultimate Sports Resort is all about, and that is the most innovative, cutting-edge sports experience in the world," said Rose. "I look forward to attending the C4-Sports Media Technology Conference and Exhibition, which promises to provide unparalleled access to today's latest media technology solutions that will set the bar for the future of sports entertainment and delivery."

As a technology partner of the resort, C4-Sports will join a team of industry leaders and professional organizations, including more than 25 USA Sports National Governing Bodies, who are all voicing approval and pledging support. "The promotion of sports, health, and fitness represents an extremely important agenda for every citizen in the United States," said Kerry Klostermann, secretary general, USA Volleyball. "USA Volleyball is extremely pleased that the vision of Ultimate Sports Entertainment, Inc. has finally become a reality."

The resort project is based on a hybrid "casino," "destination," and "sports" business model. For instance, the final name of the resort will be determined through a naming rights deal similar to those recently associated with stadium, arena, and title sponsorships in sports. The resort will feature 10 state-of-the-art competition venues including a 26,000-seat main arena, a 10,500-seat action sport arena, a 5,500-seat aquatic center, a climate controlled driving range, bowling alleys, an ice rink, and a variety of other sports-related developments such as a permanent sports product exhibition mall, 250,000-square feet of sports retail, a 150,000-square foot casino (50,000-square feet dedicated to "clean-air gaming"), 10 nightclubs, 5,500 hotel rooms, and 500 luxury condominiums.
