Business Leaders Sign Letter Against Casino

KANSAS – As reported by the Wichita Eagle: "Two dozen business leaders have signed a letter against a proposed Park City tribal casino, which supporters have pitched as a way to generate money for the state to fund education.

"Glenn Thompson, executive director of Stand Up for Kansas, delivered the letter to Sedgwick County commissioners during their meeting today.

"More than 30 people attended the meeting to quietly protest the casino. They filled the commission chambers and spilled into an overflow room…"
