Bus tradition shifts to overnight stays

This decline has seen a shift in focus by casinos toward overnight casino guests who drive to Atlantic City, the report said.

Casinos no longer lure bus patrons with comps and bus patrons are increasingly going to Pennsylvania slot parlours, the Press of Atlantic City report said.

Bus patrons still remain the second largest group of visitors to Atlantic City casinos, the report noted.
