Builders Cleared for Atlantic City Casino Work

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey – As reported by the Press of Atlantic City: "If the sworn testimony of reputed mobsters were to be believed, Frank and Peter DiTommaso would never work in this city again.

"But despite a mountain of evidence compiled by the state Division of Gaming Enforcement suggesting the DiTommasos' construction companies were well connected to organized crime, Interstate Industrial Corp. and Drywall Corp., both based in Clifton, will likely be granted a non-gaming casino service industry license.

"The decision handed down Monday afternoon by Casino Control Commission examiner Michael Fedorko grants the DiTommaso brothers an initial license application and draws nearer to an end the longest-ever CCC investigation and hearing.

"…Fedorko, former acting superintendent of New Jersey State Police, sifted through more than 5,000 pages of transcripts from roughly 40 days of hearings before deciding the DiTommasos 'demonstrated that they have the proper sensitivity to the strict regulatory climate that exists in our casino gaming industry.'…"
