Brian Wilson to perform at Del Lago on 9 August6 May 2019(PRESS RELEASE) -- Del Lago Resort & Casino is pleased to announce American composer, arranger and producer Brian Wilson, best known for the Beach Boys, will perform at The Vine on 9 August at 8 p.m. Wilson will be performing songs from his Greatest Hits Live tour with special guests Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin. Tickets go on sale at noon on Friday, 10 May and may be purchased in person at the del Lago Resort & Casino box office, by calling the box office at 315-946-1695 or online at th del Lago Resort & Casino website. Wilson created some of the most beloved records ever, including nine consecutive gold albums. “Surfer Girl,” “In My Room,” “I Get Around,” “Don’t Worry Baby,” “Fun, Fun, Fun,” “Help Me Rhonda” and “California Girls” are just a few of the more than two dozen Top 40 hits Brian co-wrote, arranged, produced and performed with his family band, the Beach Boys. In 2004, after releasing several solo albums, Wilson released SMiLE, topping many “Album of the Year” lists and going gold in the U.K., earning Wilson his first Grammy. In 2007, Wilson received America’s highest artistic tribute, The Kennedy Center Honor which was followed by the release of the critically acclaimed “That Lucky Old’ Sun” that Rolling Stone Magazine praised as Wilson’s strongest new work in years. Del Lago Resort & Casino also announced English actor, voice actor, comedian, screenwriter, and producer John Cleese will perform at The Vine on 24 November at 7 p.m. While the comedy show has been announced, ticket sales information will be released soon. Cleese is best known for his roles in The Monty Python, A Fish Called Wanda, two Harry Potter movies and two James Bond films, among many others.
