Bragg Gaming Group expands with Internet Vikings

17 October 2023

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Internet Vikings, the first-to-market licensed in-state U.S. hosting provider for the online sports betting and iGaming industry, announces an extended partnership with Bragg Gaming Group, a content-driven iGaming technology provider, to deliver tailored hosting for both Bragg HUB and Bragg RGS in Pennsylvania.

In its September 2023 report, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board revealed significant developments, including a notable 35.3% surge in online casino revenue, surpassing August 2022 figures by 7.5%. Despite a minor 2.1% dip from July's revenue of $467.0 million, this underscores the growing gambling landscape in Pennsylvania. Coupled with the ongoing advancements of Pennsylvania's gambling regulations, the state offers a significant opportunity for iGaming enterprises like Bragg Gaming Group to solidify their presence and seize the substantial potential in this market.

Internet Vikings and Bragg Gaming Group first began their partnership in November 2022 when the licensed in-state hosting provider supplied Bragg with backup services in New Jersey. This initial collaboration proved the strategic growth displayed across the United States for both companies. Drawn by the high quality of services delivered by Internet Vikings and the personalized support they received; Bragg opted to continue a strategic partnership with Internet Vikings for the launch of its services in Pennsylvania.

"We are pleased to announce the extension of our partnership," said Rickard Vikstr?m, Founder and CEO of Internet Vikings. "I am confident that our hosting solutions will provide Bragg Gaming Group with the optimal infrastructure required to successfully launch and thrive within this market."

Under the terms of the agreement, Internet Vikings will provide Bragg Gaming Group with a hosting solution designed to accommodate its aggregator services and the RGS of the acquired subsidiary Spin Games in Pennsylvania. These solutions will be hosted on the Internet Vikings' VMware hosting platform and have been meticulously tailored to meet the specific hosting requirements of Bragg, encompassing two distinct hosting environments, both situated on the Internet Vikings cloud.

“We are confident in our decision to extend our partnership with Internet Vikings” stated Peter Lavric, Chief Technology Officer of Bragg Gaming Group. "Their expertise in delivering customized hosting solutions perfectly aligns with our development plans in Pennsylvania, and we eagerly anticipate our collaborative success."

Internet Vikings currently operates in 23 states, spanning 27 data centers, and remains unwavering in its commitment to furnishing customers with top-tier hosting solutions tailored to meet the unique demands of the iGaming and sports betting industry. The company is steadfastly expanding its service offerings and capabilities to keep pace with the burgeoning demands of the industry.
