10 September 2014

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Boyd Gaming Corporation (BYD) today issued the following statement in response to the New Jersey Casino Control Commission's ruling that found MGM Resorts International qualified to resume as a 50% owner of Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.

Keith Smith, President and Chief Executive Officer of Boyd Gaming, said: "Boyd Gaming is pleased with today's decision by the New Jersey Casino Control Commission. MGM Resorts has been an excellent and valued partner at Borgata over the years.

"Boyd Gaming remains the managing partner of Borgata, which has been the case since the formation of our joint venture. Accordingly, day-to-day operations at the property will be unchanged. We look forward to continuing to build on Borgata's long track record of success as the region's leading entertainment resort destination."
