Boston University hockey in gambling scandal21 December 2015BOSTON, Massachusetts -- Boston University hockey team has been hit by a "gambling activities" scandal, Yahoo News reported. A Junior hockey player Nick Roberto was quietly suspended earlier in the season over a team rule violation, the report said. It turns out he was not the only player involved and that the violation related to gambling activity of a nature other than betting on either college or professional hockey, Yahoo News report explained. The other players are not with the team any longer, the report added. |
