Boston track to discuss casino transportation plan21 August 2012The Assciated Press reports that the owners of Suffolk Downs will be outlining for nearby residents their plans to upgrade local roadways if a resort casino is built at the racetrack. According to the AP report, Suffolk Downs has promised to invest $40 million to improve traffic flow on Route 1A and other roadways in the heavily congested area if the proposal put forward by Suffolk Downs and partner Caesars Entertainment Inc. for a $1 billion casino resort is approved by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.
